Paper plate Butterflies
Paper plates can be turned into almost anything. Butterflies, rainbows, dinosaurs, even an aquarium.
To make paper plate butterflies, this is what you would need:
Paper plates
Crayons, colouring pencils or paint
Scissors
Glue
Pom poms
Pipe cleaners
Instructions:
- Cut the paper plate into the shape of a butterfly.
- Colour in the two sides using your crayons, colouring pencils or paint. You might decide to use all three. The choice is up to you.
- Glue the two pieces together.
- Now glue the pom poms to the middle of the butterfly, in a row.
- Fold the pipe cleaner in half and glue this to the back of the butterfly.
