Insect Ice!! 

This is one of our favourite afternoon activities at preschool and now you too can do it at home!

You will need: 

Hammer

Plastic or rubber insects 

Water 

Container (or anything that can go in the freezer)

Patience :)

Step 1. Place the plastic or rubber insects into a container

Step 2. Fill the container up with water. 

Step 3. Carefully place the container into the freezer. 

Step 4. Patiently wait for the fun to happen. The water needs to be solid frozen. 

‍

Step 5. Once the water is frozen then you can take it out of the container. Place the ice, on the ground outside. 

Step 6. Hammer, hammer, hammer! Keep hammering until you find the insects.
