Fun with shaving cream!
We’ve had a go at marbling paper with oil and food colouring, but I thought it would be fun to try with shaving cream! I’m sure there are many Mummies and Daddies who have some at home!
This is a wonderful way to create beautiful, unique patterned paper, which you can use to make cards (just fold the card in half) or simply put on the fridge! This is such an easy, fun and creative way to marble your own paper - and it smells great too!
What you’ll need:
*Shaving cream
*Paper - preferably thicker paper or card, but regular printer paper works well too
*A shallow dish
*Food colouring
*Stirring stick - this can be a paint brush or even a chopstick!
*A scraper - something to scrape the shaving cream off the card (this can be a square piece of cardboard or even a ruler)

Instructions:
Squirt the shaving foam into the shallow dish - enough to cover the bottom. Spread the foam out using a spatula.

Add a few drops of food colouring - as many colours as you like! Swirl the food colouring around with your chopstick, stick (or whatever you have). Have fun swirling the colours around and discovering all the different patterns you can make!

Lay your piece of paper or card gently on top of the foam and press down.

Lift the paper out of the tray, place it down on some newspaper and scrape the excess foam off with your piece of card or ruler.

Look at your beautiful marbled paper! Get creative - add glitter, make a card or frame your stunning masterpiece!
