DIY Hand Drum
Making musical instruments is a great project to work on with your little ones. The items I have used for making these can be substituted with anything you have lying around the house. For this project I used a fidget spinner container.
Materials:
A metal container
Foam pieces
Scissors
A pencil
2 beads with large holes
Ribbon
wrapping paper
Hot glue gun
Instructions:
- Ask your mummies or daddies to make a hole in the middle of the metal container.
- Place a piece of foam inside the container and put the pencil through the hole and let it sit a quarter way inside it.
3. Now hot glue the pencil and ribbon inside the container.
4. Place another piece of foam inside the container and close it using the lid.
5. Thread beads so that it will land halfway across the container and knot several times.
6. You can decorate your container with almost anything you like. I have used old wrapping paper.
