Colour Changing Chameleon

Chameleons are a type of reptile that are able to change their colour to match their surroundings and disguise themselves—they are the ultimate ninjas! This fun and interactive paper plate craft lets you create a colour changing chameleon of your own!

You will need:

• Paper plates
• Water colour paints
• Paint brushes
• Pencil
• Scissors or craft knife
• Paper fasteners

Steps to follow:

1. Take one paper plate and paint it as many colours and patterns as you like.
2. Let your creativity fly!
3. On another plate, take your pencil and draw a chameleon shape.
4. With your scissors or craft knife, cut out the chameleon.
5. Place the plate with the chameleon cut out on top of the painted plate.
6. Then take a paper fastener and fasten the plates together.
7. Now spin the top plate and watch your new friend change colours and patterns!
