Caterpillar Hand print Art

Children often explore their surroundings with their fingers and hands, often getting into everything within reach. A hand print painting activity is a great way to encourage some hands-on discovery with the added benefit of fine motor and sensory play.

You will need:
Paper
Paint
Paintbrush
Googly eyes (optional)
And a pair of little hands

Step 1: Paint the hands the colours you decide on.

Step 2: Press down the hands on the paper and at the area that will now start shaping the Caterpillar.
Step 3: Repeat step 2 about four to five times. Leave to dry.
Step 4: Paint on a head for your beautiful Caterpillar.

βStep 5: Add the final touches. Paint on feelers and a nose. For the eyes you can paint on eyes or if you have googly eyes you can use them.
