Baked Kumera
For a delicious easy dinner for the cooler weather a baked kumera is the perfect option. Baking kumera makes it super creamy and sweet.

Ingredients:
1 large kumera (per person)
Fillings (beans, corn, cheese,etc)
Salad
Method:
- Wrap kumera in tin foil and place on an oven tray.
- Cook kumera whole in the oven at 180 degrees for around 1 ½ hours.
- Take kumera out of the oven once softened, unwrap and leave to cool slightly.
- Cut kumera in half and fill with fillings and pair with a green salad
*Alternatively you can use potatoes instead of kumera.
