An interesting way to blow up a balloon!

If you are looking for an easy science experiment - look no further!  This is such a great way to explore science - and it only takes a few materials!

You’ll need:

*Vinegar

*Baking soda

*Balloon

*Funnel(optional)

*Balloon

I don’t have a funnel at home, so I cut the end off a plastic bottle.

What you need to do:

*Fill the plastic bottle one third of the way with vinegar.

‍

*Carefully use the funnel to fill the balloon with baking soda - about 3 tablespoons (place the balloon over the funnel). 

‍

*Without spilling the baking soda from the balloon, place the balloon over the plastic bottle.

*Carefully lift the balloon up and let the baking soda fall into the bottle.  

*What is happening inside the bottle?

Look at your balloon!
