Funky Fingerpaint Pineapples

What you will need
Red, orange and yellow paint then green paint *Optional to add white paint and mix it with the green paint
Paintbrush
Paper
Plate or ice-cream lid
Step 1. Put some red, orange and yellow paint onto an ice-cream lid or something you use at home to put paint on. Put your index finger, the one next to your thumb, into the three colours. Press your finger down onto your paper.
Step 2. Dab your finger again into the paint and leave a slight gap and press down again. You will do this again and leave another slight gap and press down.
Step 3. Dab your finger into the paint and this time you are going to press your finger down underneath the other fingerprints and slightly to the left.

*Refer to the big pineapple and look where I started the second row.
Step 4. You are going to do a further three finger prints for the second row. In total that row will have 4 fingerprints.
Step 5. Do 4 fingerprints for the third row.
Step 6. The last row will have a total of fingerprints. Try and line your fingerprints up where you did the first row but at the bottom.
Step 7. Next, you are going to create a smaller pineapple. This time you are going to use just the orange and yellow paint. You are going to do 3 fingerprints in the first row but do them closer together.
Step 8. Do 4 fingerprints, close together for row 2 and 3.
Step 9. Do 3 fingerprints, close together for the last row.
Step 10. Chose between the colours red, orange and yellow or orange and yellow for your last pineapple. Repeat steps 7-9.
Step 11. Using the green paint or a little bit of green paint mixed with white and a paintbrush, you are going to create leaves of the pineapple. Do small strokes in each direction.

I hope you enjoyed making your funky pineapples and I look forward to seeing them.
Love Rachael xx
