Story Time with Thilo
Marble Painting
This is such a fun craft that helps us develop our fine motor skills!
What you will need:
Marbles
Tray or shoebox
Paint - you can choose the colours and how many different colours you use
Paint pallet or something to put paint in
Spoons
*Optional newspaper
Step 1. Find a place to create your masterpiece where it doesn’t matter if you get paint on something. You could use newspaper to put under your paper and where you are working.
Step 2. Lay your piece of paper on the tray or in the shoe box.
Step 3. Put your marble into the colour of paint you are wanting to use. Using a spoon, make sure that the paint is covering all sides of the marble.
Step 4. Carefully using the spoon, take the marble out of the paint and onto your piece of paper.
Step 5. Slowly and carefully move the tray so that the marble moves.
Step 6. Now it’s time for the artist to create their masterpiece however they would like. You can do as many different colours as you would like to and have one marble or multiple marbles going around at once.
