My Beehive - Craft Time with Rachael

It’s time to practice your fine motor skills.
You will need:
Yellow paint
Black marker
Piece of paper
Bubble wrap
Coloured paper

Step 1: Draw a beehive. Try to make it take up the whole page.
Step 2. Use a small piece of bubble wrap to dab it into the yellow paint. Then with your bubble wrap dab it inside of your beehive until the yellow paint is all in the beehive.
Step 3. Dab your index finger (the finger next to your thumb) into the yellow paint and then place it just outside of the beehive- this is the bee’s body.

Step 4. Wait for the paint to dry.
Step 5. Using a different colour of paint, use your index finger (the finger next to your thumb) to do its wings. There should be two wings on each side of the bee’s body.
Step 6. Wait for the paint to try.
Step 7. Using a black marker, draw a circle for the head, two eyes, two antennas and a smiley face. Draw the stripes and stinger.
Step 8. Cut out a round shape door for the bees and glue it on the beehive.
I look forward to seeing your wonderful bees and beehive.
Love Rachael xx
