Fork Flower
What you will need:
- A fork
- Yellow, green, white paint. If you have orange paint then you can use a little bit
- Paint brush
- Paper
- Ice-cream lid or plate - to put paint on

Step 1. Dip your fork into the kōwhai- yellow paint. Create a big porohita- circle shape using the fork. Once you have the porohita- circle, you can then fill in the middle of your porohita. *If you are using karaka- orange paint then after you have finished with the kōwhai paint go over it using karaka.

Step 2. Wait for the paint to dry.
Step 3. Using mā- white paint and a paintbrush, create the middle of the flower by gently pushing your brush down and then up a few times.
Step 4. Using kākāriki- green paint and a paintbrush you are going to create the stem of the flower. Paint a line from the bottom, middle of the flower right the way down to the bottom of your page. Then you are going to paint a medium size leaf.
I hope you have lots of fun doing today’s craft and I look forward to seeing your fork flower.
Love Rachael xx
