My Beautiful Autumn Tree
May 2026
Today you created a stunning autumn tree inspired by the beautiful colours of the season. First, you made a tree trunk using a brown handprint. You carefully pressed your hand onto the paper, creating the perfect shape for the trunk and branches.

Next, you used several cotton tips taped together to make tiny leaf prints. Dipping them into bright red, orange, and yellow paint, you gently dotted the paper to create colourful autumn leaves. It was wonderful to see how carefully you worked, while watching your tree come to life.
Once the paint had dried, the tree trunk and leaves were carefully cut out and glued onto vibrant green paper. To add even more detail, you painted lighter shades of brown and touches of shimmering gold onto the trunk. You also added scattered autumn leaves on the ground beneath your tree, making your artwork look realistic and complete.
I am so proud of the time, effort, and care you took to create your beautiful masterpiece. You showed wonderful concentration, creativity, and perseverance throughout the whole process. Your finished autumn tree is a fantastic celebration of autumn's colours and beauty.
